Climate change, logging, predation (primarily from wolves and mountain lions), and the constant roar of ATVs and snowmobiles have all taken their toll. Being a high-stress species, the woodland caribou in this part of the world is all but extinct. 2019 marked the last time members of the South Selkirk caribou herd roamed this side of the US/CAN border. At that time, the remaining few were captured and transported north to Revelstoke, BC, and released into a breeding pen for safekeeping. Their future looks bleak.

Care instructions
- Use warm water and dish soap and clean spots off your hat. It's not necessary to soak the whole item. For hard-to-clean spots use a soft bristled brush.
